Magpie in flight with dinner

Evening approaches at my local park. The magpies were out foraging for their dinner. I started taking multiple rapid-fire photos of them hunting.

This particular shot is a terrific example of not quite knowing what you have until you look at the whole sequence in Adobe Lightroom. Everything came together just right, and I was able to capture this magpie in the moment before it landed and feasted on the worm it had just caught.
